The project responded to the need to meet a national strategy for the construction and operation of three ecotourism complexes in National Parks of Angola, in order to develop international tourism, promoting Ecotourism in protected natural areas.
The project aims to value the biodiversity of the Angolan nation in three representative ecosystems of Africa: the tropical forest (Maiombe), the so-called savannah (Chimalavera) and the desert (Iona).
For this, a diagnosis was made; the conceptualization and design of an offer of ecotourism products; the design of a market and financial viability plan; the definition of need s and the design, sizing and planning of infrastructure for three lodges; interpretation and restoration actions; training need s; and guidelines for its commercialization and distribution.
